COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER SALES & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
/We are hiring a Commercial Customer Sales & Service Representative for one of our busy industrial clients located in Ottawa. The successful candidate will be friendly, polite, and professional with a strong background in customer service.
Schedule & wage:
Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm
Starting pay rate ranges from $21 to $22/hour
What the job involves:
Receive and process customer orders and requests, identify and resolve customer concerns
Manage reservations for rental equipment, including contracts and invoices
Process and record transactions into WMS (Warehouse Management System)
Set up new products in WMS
Accurately maintain shipping / receiving documentation and inventory records
Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Act as primary point of contact between customers and warehouse
Maintain accurate records of supplier communications and document reviews
Assist in other administrative tasks as needed
What the job requires of you:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English (bilingualism in French an asset)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with inventory control in an industrial setting, familiarity with building materials and contractor supply extremely valuable
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous customer service or related industry experience would be valuable assets
Access to a vehicle is required as the work location is not located on a transit route
